On January 7th, 2009 Intercosmos Media Group, Inc., doing business as directNIC.com, will be transferring its ICANN registrar accreditation to DirectNIC, LTD At the conclusion of this process, our consolidated group of companies will have offices in New Orleans, LA; Tampa, FL; Schaffhausen, Switzerland; and Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, which is the jurisdiction for DirectNIC, LTD The same owners will still be here to ensure that your customer experience exceeds all of your expectations. Our customer support operations will remain in our current location in New Orleans, Louisiana, and you can still reach us at the same phone number: 877.856.9598. Most importantly, the very same support staff will be here to address any questions or concerns you might have.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?

You don't have to do anything, if you want to keep receiving the same great value and service that directNIC has always given you.

In two weeks, the listed registrar for your domain names will change from Intercosmos Media Group to DirectNIC, LTD. You will be agreeing to the DirectNIC, LTD Terms of Service. You can view the new Terms of Service at: http://www.directNIC.com/legal/directNICLTD.php. You'll notice that the major change is in name and jurisdiction only.

There will be no interruption in your services and the transition will be seamless to you.

directNIC.com has always allowed our customers more freedom than other registrars in transferring domains names to and from our domain registrar. Our service model has always been to promote a great customer experience. We really hope you choose to stay with us during this transition. However, as always, if our customer service doesn't meet your expectations, you can transfer your domain names to another registrar at anytime.
